Pay just £20 for a three-course lunch and drink at the Wee Restaurant (saving £23).

 The Wee Restaurant on Fredrick Street is inviting i-on readers to try a three-course meal from the a la carte menu at plat du jour prices. The three course a la carte menu costs £36 but i-on readers will pay £20 plus booking fee, for one day only. And, we’re throwing in a welcome drink of Harris Gin and tonic, with the option to add The Wee Restaurant’s seasonal syrup made with Scottish raspberries, making the 'house aperitif’ so you’ll be saving a whopping £23 per head.

You’ll be able to choose from dishes including Orkney crab salad with herb mayonnaise, micro greens and walnut toast; confit duck leg and puy lentil salad, spiced chorizo, crispy artichokes and fried duck egg; roasted sea bass fillet with crushed new potatoes, tomato, chilli, fennel and octopus salsa; and a warm pain perdu with summer berries.

The Wee restaurant, run by husband and wife team, Craig and Vikki Wood, is a great wee spot for lunch and dinner, serving lunch all day on Saturdays. And while the Plat du Jour offers a smaller menu and light lunch option, the a la carte is a feast for the eyes, showcasing Craig’s passion for Scottish ingredients.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: A welcome drink of Harris Gin and tonic and a three course meal from the a la carte menu.

COST: £20 per head plus booking fee*. You’ll receive a ticket per table (not per head) for either table for two or table for four.

*Any extra drinks and food supplements to be paid by guests on the day.
